Sip & Savor the Indiana Dunes Coffee & Sweets Trail

If you’re one of those people who just can’t get your day started without your morning cup of coffee…or if you love to spend your mid-day sipping in the corner of a quiet coffee shop with a good book…or if you like to relax after the work day with a warm cup of Joe while you unwind, it’s time to check out the Coffee & Sweets Trail.

With a variety of places offering sips of hot and cold beverages along with sweet bites, you’ll find something for everyone - from a frappé and a scone in a cozy chair in a tranquil coffee house to places with full-scale menus where you can add something savory to your stop, as well.

Be sure to download the Indiana Dunes Tourism app and check in as you go. Go to the app and click on “Culinary Trails” and then go to the “Coffee & Sweets Trail.” With six check-ins at participating locations, you can earn yourself a snazzy Indiana Dunes coffee mug. 

Spread throughout Porter County (and into Lake County), you’ll find a wide range of places to enjoy a steamy mug, a cold brew or a cup of tea with some light bites, sweet treats or full breakfast or lunch meal. 

Whether you’re strictly there for a coffee to grab and go or you want to sit and enjoy some sweet or savory bites, it’s so much fun to explore the trail and find so many different places to sip and savor.
