Portage 4th of July Festival and Parade
If you’re in Portage, join us for a full day of activities at Founders Square Park. The day usually kicks off with a street parade, followed by the festival and then a magical fireworks show at dusk!
This year’s featured entertainment includes Ricky Lindy and the Wild Ones, local rockers who play top hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s–so get ready to twist and shout! If you’re looking to indulge in summertime grub, the festival will feature food trucks from local vendors like Tocayos, Coco Cabanas, Maggie's Sweet Treats, The Big Wiener, Bub's Bowls, and Kona Ice.
Porter 4th Fest
Celebrate Independence Day at the annual 4th Fest! The day kicks off with a big parade through the streets of Porter, so expect plenty of community-made floats, classic cars, marching bands, local leaders, and more!
After the parade, Hawthorne Park transforms into a hub of Independence Day activity, offering everything from the thrilling Turtle Derby to live music by the NAWTY band, playing a mix of Motown and modern hits. Kids and families can enjoy a variety of games, contests, and an obstacle course bounce house. The day will conclude with a stunning fireworks display, while food stalls, picnic tables, and a beer garden ensure something tasty for everyone to enjoy.
Valparaiso 4th of July Celebration
Valparaiso invites you to the city's annual Fourth of July celebration! The festivities ignite at Urschel Field, where you can immerse yourself in the excitement and join the local community in celebration!
Experience a delightful day with more than 25 food trucks offering a variety of culinary delights, live music performances, and patriotic ceremonies leading up to the grand finale: a breathtaking fireworks show. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the night sky lit with dazzling fireworks.
