Whiting Lakefront Park and Whihala Beach

Whiting Lakefront Park and Whihala Beach Park are adjacent to one another. Combined, these 38 acres offer sporting areas including a bike trail, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and a baseball diamond. The park is also a landing place for migrating birds (check out the Purple Martin houses). There is a fishing pier, another relaxing fishing pond, and a boat launch ramp at the beach. In summer months, the beach has lifeguards.
