Keith Richard Walner Nature Preserve

This untouched floodplain forest along the Little Calumet River offers a tranquil setting where wetland-loving creatures and plants thrive. Woodland wildflowers cover the slopes of the ravines in spring, and migratory birds rest here on their long journeys in the spring and fall. The trail includes a 0.5-mile of frontage along the river and a launch site for paddlers.
