Volunteer! Native Plant Restoration at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve

Help us restore the native plants at the newly renovated parking lot and pavilion at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve. We will be “bumping up,” or transferring, native plant seedlings, grown by volunteers, into larger pots in order to prepare them to be planted in the ground. This workday will play a huge role in restoring and beautifying the preserve after months of construction work. The plants from this workday will be seen and enjoyed by all who visit Meadowbrook!

Drop-in anytime from 9:00 am-noon. Gloves, tools, snacks, water, and other equipment will be provided.

If you are new to the Shirley Heinze Volunteer Program, please fill out the Volunteer Application and Liability Waiver before the event. We will also have extra forms available on site. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for helping keep our nature preserves beautiful!
