Miller Woods Hike at the Paul H. Douglas Center

Join a ranger for a hike through Indiana Dunes National Park’s exceptional Miller Woods, starting from the Paul H. Douglas Center. The hike is spectacular in its varied habitats including globally rare black oak savanna, interdunal ponds, wetlands, and towering sand dunes which offer incredible views of Lake Michigan and Chicago. Hike lengths can vary from a half-mile to just over three miles. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water, and insect repellent during the warmer seasons. This hike will be held every Sunday from  August.  1st to September 5th.Time: 1:30 – 3:30 pm.
