History Comes Alive Weekend

Indiana Dunes State Park invites guests to relive the area’s fur-trading past during History Comes Alive Weekend. Members of the Ouiatenon Brigade, a re-enacting group, will land on the beach and set up camp near the beach pavilion. The brigade portrays the French-Canadian voyageurs of the 1700s in dress, food, and lifestyle. Other history programs and hikes will also take place this weekend. Time 11:50 am to 5:00 pm.
