Bringing Nature Home: an Introduction to Native Gardening

Staff members Eric Bird and Sarah Barnes will join forces to discuss the importance of using native plants in everyday landscaping and offer guidance for starting a new native garden or incorporating native plants into existing landscaping. Learn how you can be an advocate for native plants and wildlife through the Bringing Nature Home garden recognition program. Sarah and Eric each have over 10 years of personal and professional experience in native landscaping and natural resources. Whether you don’t know what a native plant is or you’ve been using them exclusively for decades, join us, and we’ll have a lively conversation that will be sure to teach us all something new.
