Enjoy all the neat-o aspects of a 1950s drive-in merged with modern-day convenience. For the price of one ticket, you get a kids movie and a family-friendly grown-up film. Unlike other drive- ins, many of the movies are just premiering in “regular” theatres. Come hungry, because you won’t want to miss the concession stand. Pick from Junior Mints to mini corn dogs to ice cream to hamburgers. They’ve even got mosquito repellant and wipes to clean your windshield. Located in Valparaiso, the 49er Driver-In Theatre is Northwest Indiana’s only drive-in theater. It retains its original look and classic design. The theatre also has concessions and a Meal Deal. The box office opens at 7pm so make sure to get there early! $8.00 for 12 & up, $4.00 for ages 5-11 and Free for 4 and under. Double features shown nightly from June –August, and on weekends in April, May, September, and October.
