On Merging with Lake Country CVB

The Lake County Convention and Visitor Bureau is continuing its efforts to take over Indiana Dunes Tourism and the LaPorte County Convention and Visitor Bureau with the goal of creating one large Northwest Indiana convention and visitor bureau. In the interest of better understanding whether a combined regional CVB would maximize the potential of the tourism industry and the associated dollars flowing into our respective counties, we hired two nationally recognized and independent tourism development firms to analyze the regional concept and give their expert opinions.
