Things to take to the beach

Sun/insect protection:

• Sunscreen
• Lip balm
• Sunglasses
• Wide-brimmed hat
• Beach umbrella
• Insect repellant
• Bandages (just in case)

Food:

Bring a small cooler with water and your favorite snacks!

Beach stuff:

• Bag for trash
• Beach bag
• Beach towels
• Beach chairs
• Flip-flops
• Frisbee or ball
• Kite
• Book or magazines
• Pail, shovel and beach toys for playing in the sand
• Comb or brush

Optional:

• Camera or video camera
• Change of clothes
• Cash (snacks are available at some beaches)
