Tucked away in northwestern Indiana is Porter County - home to beaches that rank among the top five family beaches in the nation, more than 70 miles of hiking and biking trails that will take through a landscape of rolling dunes, oak barrens and native prairies, and many sites that will introduce you to the region’s cultural history. Best of all, there’s still plenty from where that came from.
