The Popcorn Panic is a 5 mile run or 5 mile walk that is running for the 34th year. Held in conjunction with the Popcorn Festival.The Popcorn Panic is a 5 mile run or 5 mile walk that is running for the 34th year. Held in conjunction with the Popcorn Festival, it is the first Saturday after Labor Day, September 8, 2012. Awards are given the to the top finishers in both divisions in multiple age categories. Start/Finish line is in downtown Valparaiso and the typically the course is marked at least one month prior to the running. Registrations will be taken beginning in June 2012.
