Whole Kids at Thomas LibrarySaturday, April 7, 2012 - Saturday, May 5, 2012 Whole Kids, Westchester Public Library's wellness program for kids, covers a wide variety of subjects related to the whole child.Children in grades 1-6 are invited, along with their parents, to the remaining 3 sessions of Westchester Public Library's wellness program, Whole Kids. Whole Kids takes place at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Avenue, Chesterton, in the Bertha Wood meeting room. April's sessions will be Saturday, April 7, and Saturday, April 21. The final session will be Saturday, May 5. All three sessions will begin at 10 a.m. Sessions of Whole Kids will include sharing time, positive visualization, breathing exercises, centering, an art/craft project, and closing circle. Healthy refreshments will follow. Parents are encouraged to come for the closing circle and refreshments. For more information, contact the Children's Department at Thomas Library, 926-7696. |
