Summer Bandstand Concert and Family Film Series

An old-fashion concert series featuring a variety of traditional music, followed by a movie suitable for family viewing.Bring the whole family, lawn chairs, and a picnic dinner, and join your neighbors at Thomas Centennial Park, downtown Chesterton, for an old-fashion concert series featuring a variety of traditional music. Each program is followed by a movie suitable for family viewing. Concerts and films will take place 10 consecutive Friday evenings at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. for the movies) June 8 through August 10. In the event of rain, concerts and films will take place in the Library Service Center, 100 W. Indiana Avenue, Chesterton. The series is partially funded by the Chesterton-Porter Rotary.
