Tools ExhibitFriday, April 13, 2012 - Sunday, July 22, 2012 Porter County Museum's exhibit on all types of tools from the last two hundred years.Tools is a new exhibit at the Porter County Museum of History that highlights a great variety of tools used in the homes of Porter County people for the last two hundred years. Not limited to shop tools, the exhibit boasts implements used in the household and in everyday life. Several inventions and inventors are also featured in the exhibit. Many are unaware that Noah S. Amstutz, former resident, invented the technology that made television possible. Several other noteworthy items are on display in the Museum until July 22, 2012. The Museum is open to the public from 10a until 4p on Wednesdays through Saturday, and from 12p until 5p on Sundays. |
