Enjoy a dog-friendly day in the park!BARK in the PARK July 13, 2013 9 am to 3 pm Thomas Centennial Park in Downtown Chesterton - Crossroads of Calumet & Broadway - FREE Admission!! On Saturday, July 13, 2013, the Duneland Business Initiative Group will sponsor the second annual BARK in the PARK, in Thomas Centennial Park in Downtown Chesterton, Indiana, 9am-3pm. Can you out-bark your dog?? Is your dog the ugliest around? Or, maybe you bear a distinct resemblance to each other? Then brush-up, dress-up and put your best paw forward to vie for valuable prizes from local merchants. Beginning at Noon, next to the Bandstand, the Canine Contest Judges will be looking over dogs of every shape and size to find out which are the cutest, ugliest, biggest, smallest, have the longest tail or ears, or can perform the best trick. (contests may change) All contests are free to enter! Kids and dogs alike can search for the lucky duck in the Duck Hunt game, where every contestant wins a prize!
