Bits & Bytes: Word 2 Class at Thomas Library

Westchester Public Library offers continued computer training classes.Bits and Bytes continues at Westchester Public Library with a Microsoft Word 2 class for adults on Thursday, July 26. The class will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Bertha Wood meeting room located on the second floor of Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton. Registration is necessary due to the limited number of computers available and will begin on July 12. To reserve your spot, visit or call the Serials Department or register online at http://www.wpl.lib.in.us/. Click on the Bits and Bytes link. The class is free of charge. Registrants must be proficient with the mouse and familiar with Word basics. Attendees will learn basic formatting skills, including bullets, numbering tabs, columns, etc. Those who attend will also learn how to insert clip art, use word art, create labels and more.
