Children's Calligraphy at Hageman Library

Children in grades 4 and up are invited to Hageman Library to learn the beautiful art of Calligraphy.Children in grades 4 and up are invited to learn the beautiful art of Calligraphy at Hageman Library, Westchester Public Library’s Porter branch. The 5-week class will take place on Tuesday, June 19 and 26, and July 3, 10, and 17, from 10-11 a.m. at the library, 100 Francis Street, Porter. Registration is required as the class is limited to 15. All materials will be provided by the library. Long-time calligrapher Deb Pedone will teach attendees the basics of calligraphy, such as the proper way to hold the pen, and the basic strokes and embellishments for the italic style of handwriting.
