There's even a 1920s-style railroad depot with vintage-style benches, panoramic views of the garden and a gift shop. NOTE: dogs are not allowed in the Visitors Center or the Railway Garden. Gabis is also a great place to walk and enjoy gardens, woods, a pond and prairies. Admission fees apply. NOTE: Although the Arboretum is open all year and has extended hours, the Railway Garden is only open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from May to October. Trains run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
