During the summer months kids can participate in the Jr. Wildland Firefighter program at the park. Kids learn about prescribed fire, fire ecology, and have a hands on experience with equipment used in wildland fire management. Upon completion of this 30-minute, hands-on program, children will receive their very own Junior Wildland Firefighter activity book and a Junior Wildland Firefighter patch.
