Sunset Hill Farm County Park is a lovely 235-acre park where you'll find a primitive campground, several miles of trails, picnic and play areas, demonstration crops, and an amphitheater. The park's hiking trails traverse both prairie and woodland, where you can see birds and other wildlife. A working dairy farm until 1978, the park still grows demonstration crops as part of its educational mission to cultivate respect and understanding for earth's natural resources. The park offers scheduled naturalist programs, wagon rides, and public events. Camping for GROUPS ONLY. The fees are $2 person plus a $45 refundable damage deposit.

This short hike will be led by a park naturalist and will be highly interactive and designed for children of all ages. The theme will change each month. Strollers and young children are welcome. Meet at the benches by the parking lot.
An all-day music festival to benefit the See Change Foundation. There will be a beer garden hosted by Leroy's Hotstuff and Running Vines. Food trucks from Bartlett's and Leroy's hotstuff. Kids activities include bounce houses and YMCA activities. You will enjoy 5 amazing bands, All Good Things; Jerica Paliga; Township Train Wreck; Visions of Santana; and Corey Dennison.
The Prairie Magic Music Fest is a celebration of rock, bluegrass, folk, and Americana music. Sunset Hill Farm County Park will host this festival with a dynamite initial line up. The festival will also highlight craft, food, and beer vendors. The Rolling Stonebaker Pizza, Valpo Velvet Ice Cream, and Bartlett's Grill will be satisfying hunger while a beer garden will make local microbrews available to those 21 or over. The event is family friendly and kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Water will be available on-site at no cost but coolers and outside food and beverages are not allowed.
Farming demonstrations include steam engines, shingle mill, sawmill, field tillage, threshing corn shelling, rock crushing, dynamometer, sorghum cooking, a parade of power, a flea market, food vendors, antique cars and trucks, and much more!
